Answers:
1: Is the Cartek Racing Pro 10.0 a Heads-up Class?
Yes it is, however it differs from a traditional heads-up class in that you are not allowed to run under 10 seconds. If you run under 10 second, you lose or if it is a qualifying run it is not counted.

2: Do I have to be a points racer?
Yo do not need to sign up for points if you do not wish to do so. You can simply show up, buy a Pro 10.0 tech card and attempt to qualify for the class. If you are not a points racer, you will not qualify for points or year end awards.

4: Can I run Cartek Racing Pro 10.0 and Brackets

5: Can I also run in the Pro 8 Shootout?
Top
Yes you can also race in the Pro 8 Shootout. Pro 8 Shootout and Cartek Racing Pro 10.0 will not be held on the same days. Please note Pro 8 Shootout is a separate class and if you are a points racer, points earned in one class will not count for another.
6: If my car does not run 10.0 can I be competitive?
Yes you can be competitive. Not all cars are capable of running the same ET. Keep in mind this class uses a sportsman ladder meaning the number one car races the number 9 car not the number 16 car as in a pro ladder making the pairings much closer. Since the class runs on a Pro tree, (all three yellows at once), this will help in equalizing the drivers reaction times.

7: What if I buy a Cartek Racing Pro 10.0 class tech card and then don't qualify?

8: What if I buy a combination tech card and don't qualify for the Cartek Racing Pro 10.0?
For drivers that wish to race in both the Cartek Racing Pro 10.0 and the bracket class on the same day, you can buy a reduced rate combination tech card for $50 rather than two separate ones for $30 each. In this case if you fail to qualify for the Cartek Racing Pro 10.0 class, the driver will have benefited from multiple qualifying and time runs from both classes so no adjustment or refund shall be due the driver.
