08/14/10 - Englishtown, NJ - Today's Anger Management Racing Pro 11.50 Index event had fourteen drivers show up to battle it out on the 1320. The points are very close for the top four drivers. With only four events remaining, there are six drivers that can be the 2010 Champion. More then half the field qualified in the 11.5x's. Today's number one qualifier was Marc Hinkes. Marc qualified with an 11.503. The driver with the best reaction time in round one was Gary Hillen with a .003.

Round 1

The first pair of drivers to start off event #6 was Rich Shuleski (8) taking on the number one qualifier Marc Hinkes (1). Both drivers are staged deep and the tree flashed, Rich was off with an outstanding .027 to Marc's .137. Rich crossed first with an 11.718 @ 112.13 mph with Marc following behind with an 11.794 @ 104.46 mph. The next pair to the line was our points leader Eric Fischer (14) who was paired with Jerry Muniz (7). Eric was able to leave first with a .075 to Jerry's .123. On the top end it was Eric crossing first with an 11.510 @ 114.49 to Jerry's 11.510 @ 116.04 mph. This was such a close race to the finish line that both driver's were looking for the win light on the wall to know who won. Next to the line were two silver Corvettes. First to the line was Paul Bogdan (3) driving his Silver C5 with a 427 power plant. Paul was up against our class title sponsor Tommy Michalkowski (10) driving his twin turbo 346. Both drivers trying to tree the other driver was evident from there reaction times. Paul left the starting line first with a .031 to Tommy's .045. Paul was able to keep ahead of Tommy to cross the finish line first. Paul's 11.657 @ 99.58 mph to Tommy's 11.953 @ 118.94 mph allowed to move onto round two.
